There is a toast done by the new God parents of the child as well as the child’s parents and I wanted to show more of the fun, and did I mention, there is dancing? lots of dancing, stomping feet Portuguese style and it is loads of fun. For the Christening, as tradition, there is this special song that is done. The  child and parents get in middle of the dance floor and they play this song that says God Bless my family ( quite emotional actually) and then the other family members and friends start making circles and circles and circles around the main family and pretty soon you are squeezed in but it is so neat. As I stated in the first part of this event is how much the Portuguese Value family time together, lots of laugh, fun, lots of food and here comes the familia dance. P.S  Did I mention that cute elderly couple holding Justin is Justin’s Great Grandfather and Great-mother from Portugal, they are so cute.
